TWEP wins funding from ESF

Posted by Coman Communications on July 24, 2005

TWEP  is  one of only two organisations in Sutton  to secure funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) to deliver training to seven AFrican women in South London towards a career in Care.

The training will be delivered in three parts, covering Health and Safety, Food and Hygiene and Preparation to NVQ in Health and Social Care.

The main focus of this stream of funding is to help those that are unemployed to get back in the job market.  Training and other activities will develop skills and lead to participants being more marketable.

The funding, of nearly £10,000, includes  the provision of the course, venue hire and childcare costs.
